Chronic pain patients often suffer from depression, anxiety, sleep disturbances, financial issues, and a lack of support as a result of their condition. If left too long, chronic pain can even result in physiological changes, such as a loss of grey matter in the prefrontal cortex. Despite this, there is a global lack of education and understanding around chronic pain, but Grant Connelly is on a mission to change this!
