Dr. James Kim has been with CPM Centres for Pain Management, now NeuPath Centre for Pain and Spine, since 2008 as the Medical Director for the Brampton Site where he has a focussed practice in the treatment of chronic, non-cancer pain. He previously spent 18 years in general practice. He is credentialed with the American and Canadian Academies of Pain Management and the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Queen’s University and on staff at the Humber River Hospital. Dr. Kim is a medical consultant to RGA Reinsurance Canada for life insurance underwriting. He has been a consultant to the WSIB for medical disability management. He also performs Independent Medical Examinations for third parties looking specifically at chronic pain presentations and case management. He is a scientific board member for clinical trial reviews with Advarra IRB. Dr. Kim has been active in continuing medical education both in the insurance industry and the medical community. He received his MBA from the Rotman School of Management.
